About Dr. Peterson
Hi, caregiver!
I’m Dr. Grace Peterson. It can be hard for me to stick with things that I’m not really into in my bones (hello, forms), but I’ve learned to see lots of hard stuff through with support (hello, 5-minute timer and a call to my best friend). Getting outside is always a good reset for when my mind is busy or my heart is heavy; returning to nature helps me return to my own nature, things flow a little easier once I’m grounded. I’m a huge fan of sprinkle donuts because it’s a small thing that I just can’t help but smile at. Something about the ritual and the smell of my morning coffee connects me to my Scandinavian heritage and helps me come alive (ok, and the caffeine).
I became a psychologist because what I’ve always cared about most in life is relationships with other people. Our relationships provide such richness to life, often showing us different parts of ourselves, sometimes causing immense pain, and always changing over the course of our lifetimes until we have to say goodbye and learn to live without someone.
